I am Elsa, also known as Heja Elsa on social media, an outdoor photographer from Switzerland with a master’s degree in innovation and climate change from the University of St. Gallen. Growing up near the Swiss Alps, I cultivated a deep connection to the natural world. Countless hours were spent exploring the mountains, forests, and lakes of my homeland. Through my lens, I craft narratives that showcase the beauty of nature and emphasise its fragility in the face of climate change.

In recent years, I have collaboration with various organisations, offering them a chance to tell their stories by bringing them along on my adventures. I also enjoy working with fellow adventure photographers, creating content together to capture and share the essence of our shared experiences. Additionally, I always carry a sketchbook with me, and I am happy to put my drawing skills to use, adding another dimension to my creative pursuits.
